Sitting on 10 acres of land with not another house in sight, Rock Hill House has the feeling of a secluded resort. The fantastic game room, outdoor amenities, and a convenient single-floor layout will deliver a fun-filled vacation with loads of laughter.

With 3600 square feet of space, six bedrooms, and two and a half baths, there is a lot of breathing room. As soon as you enter, you’re brought into the big, open living space with the kitchen on your right and living areas on your left. Thanks to large windows and skylights there’s sunlight everywhere.
The vaulted ceilings and new furnishings add a sense of luxury to your forest getaway. Every room in this home has been redone since 2019.

Rock Hill Manor offers a lot of privacy. This also means grocery stores and restaurants are 15-20 mins away. But the fully stocked kitchen makes it easy to cook even for a bigger group so you won’t have to venture out for every meal. The large dining table seats 10 people with additional seating for 6 by the kitchen island.
Just open the sliding doors right next to the dining table and the 350 square foot deck becomes a great extra space for people to spread out. And you’ll have unobstructed views of the state forest!
In the early evening, collect around the fire, tell stories, and make s’mores. Or plunge into the soft outdoor furnishings to listen to the birds and the wind in the trees – no noise from roads or neighbors! After the sun goes down, sink into the crystal-clean hot tub with a glass of wine and stargaze.

From the back of the living space you enter the game room. The bedrooms are on the other end past the kitchen. We absolutely love this layout because a large group doesn’t have to splinter into various floors to hang out; cooking, catching up, kids playing games, you can do it all together on one floor – no need to chase people up and down for dinner! And those wanting to battle it out in the game room after sunset won’t disturb sleepy adventurers in the bedrooms.
Even with all the indoor entertainment, the location is perfect for the outdoorsy types. Pecks Pond is just down the road. The area is well known for numerous spectacular waterfalls, like Dingmans or Shohola Falls. Or head to Bushkill Falls for an easy hike with an outstanding 130 foot cascading waterfall, a museum and more.
When the snow flies, the Poconos become a winter wonderland. Take a scenic 20-minute drive to Shawnee Mountain. The slopes cater to beginner and intermediate skiers. Snowshoeing and tubing are great family fun too! The road and driveway are plowed throughout the winter.
Delaware Water Gap National Park is a great place to rent watercraft. Reserve a canoe or kayak for the day on the Delaware River. Promised Land State Park has lakes, beaches, boat rentals, hiking and an intriguing natural history museum. Throw a line in the water for some fishing or take a refreshing plunge into the lake.
If you forget anything, Pickerel Inn General Store and Deli is only two miles away.
Carini Brick Oven serves upscale Brooklyn-style pizza and has a full bar. Live it up and have some homemade gelato or tiramisu.
Chris and Gina’s café is a crowd-pleaser known for its fresh ingredients and weekly specials.
You are welcome to bring furry family members as Rock Hill House is a pet-friendly rental! There is a strong WIFI signal and plenty of bandwidth to work remotely if you must.
Rock Hill is the ideal property for multi-generational families or a group of close friends to gather and take a break from city life. Reconnect and perhaps celebrate a special occasion. Expect to be SO content it may be hard to leave!
